 改革开放的大王庄首创“十星文明户”活动，村长成了电视台记者的采访目标。 可村长王长安心中有个麻烦事：不知谁在他门上挂了一只鳖，为了安慰妻子大凤的怨恨情绪，表示不怕诅咒，王长安将鳖炖着吃掉了。 县纪委主任将王长安叫到县里，给了他一个村民们集体按手印的奖状，县里树王长安为廉政典型。这下王长安可心中不安了，门上挂鳖是有人咒骂还是行贿?他伤透了脑筋。他和大风分析：承包水塘的马牛来过他家，肯定是有事相求而行贿。大风来到马牛家从他媳妇改弟口中探出线索。可改弟误会了大凤的意思，反而让马牛送来一只鳖，慌乱中将鳖塞进纪委钱主任包里，害的长安有口难辩。 村里的精明人旺旺、与婆婆有小口角而怕被摘掉“孝顺星”的麦穗都有求于村长，他们看准村长为鳖的事着急，便谎称鳖是自己挂的。王长安为破鳖案慌不择路，闹出了许多笑话，最后，麦穗的丈夫洋芋回来道出挂鳖的原委时，大家都笑了，笑得那么开心。

　　Myrna Loy was a fantastic Nora, the ideal wife and considering she made 14 movies with William Powell, she made it look like they were really married.
　　The Thin Man movies, all six of them, played more like sophisticated screwball comedies than murder mysteries, and their comic banter enhanced the proceedings.
　　Their little wire-haired terrier, Asta, quite often stole the scene as he helped sleuth out the guilty party.
　　He was a great little actor and rumor had it that away from the Thin Man movies, Asta was really Skippy.
　　However, the six Thin Man movies credit this cute pooch as "Asta."

　　文、牛及丰越狱后，被公安通缉，三人逃至中越边境的一个小农村，以为可以过些平淡生活，岂料一日农村被军队包围，三人被活捉，囚禁于一个集中营内。三人决定伺机逃走，怎料被守军发现，乱枪扫射，三人虽身中多枪却竟然能苏醒过来，原来这只是武龙将军之布局，因龙需要一些在档案上已死的人，替他执行秘密任务，文等人均被选中，只要替龙完成两项任务，便可以重生，并取得法国护照移居法国，否则便只有死路一条，三人无奈只好答允。文、牛及丰等便就此险进惨无人道的炼狱战争中，于是发展开一场为友情舍身成仁，有不惜自我而达其愿，更有理想成为牺牲品，最后，文虽然从炼狱中的森林逃出，但已失去了一切。

　　杨开慧出生于知识分子之家，从小受到良好的教育。科学与民主的新思想使她成为一个进步的“新女性”。她不顾来自各方的劝阻，与毛泽东相知相恋。婚后，她坚定地支持毛泽东的革命工作，在白色恐怖下，协助毛泽东为党做了大量工作。1930年冬，杨开慧不幸被捕。在狱中，她面对敌人的严刑拷打，宁死不屈。
　　本片以杨开慧被捕至牺牲为第一时空，描述了这位坚贞不屈的烈士最后二十天的生活；同时又以杨开慧烈士对自己一生的回忆为第二时空，表现了这位崇高女性29年短暂而光辉的经历。两个时空有机交错，塑造了一个真实、生动、感人，独特而卓越的女性形象。

An Italian western in the A FISTFUL OF DOLLARS mold with a better than average cast, which includes Bud Spencer in the debut of his heavy-handed character (later made famous in the TRINITY series) and the outstanding Japanese actor Tatsuya Nakadai, famous for his role in Akira Kurosawa's KAGEMUSHA. Written by horror-meister Dario Argento and presented here in the English-language version (which, considering it was filmed MOS with an international cast, is nearly as "original dialogue" as its Italian-language counterpart).
