　　南森·韦斯特（塞缪尔·杰克逊 Samuel L. Jackson饰），一位素以严厉著称美军训练基地魔鬼教官，他的冷酷无情令其和学员之间的关系一向十分紧张。汤姆·哈代（约翰·特拉沃塔 John Travolta饰），一位同样对韦斯特心存怨恨的昔日门下弟子，现任美国药品管理局官员。两人因一起神秘失踪案件而联系在了一起。这宗在巴拿马丛林发生的离奇失踪事件，致使六名受训学员连同韦斯特在飓风后消失得无影无踪。哈代受命与军方调查官员朱丽娅少尉（康妮·尼尔森 Connie Nielsen饰）携手调查此事。然而随着调查的展开，仅存的两名幸存者学员丹巴（布莱恩·范·霍尔特 Brian Van Holt饰）与肯达尔（吉奥瓦尼·瑞比西 Giovanni Ribisi饰）的供词却大相径庭。越来越多的谎言与欺骗渐渐浮出水面，到底谁在说谎，真相背后又是怎么样的可怕事实？

　　An English school teacher outposted in Africa has a run in with the local witch doctor and suffers a nervous breakdown. After recovering back in England she takes a job teaching in a small country town hoping to make a new start for herself. All goes well at first, until she starts to hear some disturbing stories about the town. She soon discovers the town is home to a coven of witches and they plan to sacrifice a local girl in one of their rituals.

　　自众人来到虹日城后，城内陆续有人离奇死亡，城内守卫大肆追捕嫌犯唐仲生，而白衣侯与江湖混混柳蝉儿被卷入事件中难逃嫌疑，所幸监城司里的云翎相信他们并帮助他们逃脱追捕。白衣侯一众开始调查真相，一段罪恶的往事逐渐浮出水面，原来云城主等人是二十年前出逃唐门的唐门三鬼，他们逃到虹日城利用一批孩童当试验品，造出了可怕的无衣蛊毒，掌控着全城人的性命。而云城主当年为了饲养蛊王，阳寿减半，现在为了续命延寿，他准备凑成五阴大阵，献祭全城召回百蛊，全城性命危在旦夕。
　　白衣侯出手破解了云城主的大阵，但这时候才发现，云城主只不过是一粒棋子，真正的幕后黑手，是跟白衣侯有一段渊源纠葛的大魔王朱雀…
