「SLAYERS」（又名「秀逗魔导士」「魔剑美神」）是从1989年开始连载至今的神坂一的人气轻小说，该作连载多年一共推出了本编15卷单行本以及30卷短篇，全系列销售量累计突破1500万部，堪称“轻小说金字塔”的经典作品。在作品连载期间还不断推出过动画版、游戏以及广播剧等，好评如潮。 「秀逗魔导士」自1995年以来，一共推出了4部TV动画版、1部OVA以及5部剧场版，今年7月的TV版第4作「秀逗魔导士REVOLUTION」令一班新老动漫迷重新领略了这部经典之作的魅力所在。作为其续篇「秀逗魔导士EVOLUTION-R」预定从2009年1月起在AT-X电视台上开始播放。OP及ED主题歌「Front breaking」「砂時計」将继续交由林原惠担当！
