 本片是八一厂继地道战、地雷战之后的终结篇。 抗日战争时期，正太铁路线上，活跃着一支专门破坏敌人交通运输线的队伍。深夜，青石坡民兵队长吕春秀（穆宁 饰）飞身登上敌列，将束集手榴弹扔进车箱，炸的鬼子哭爹喊娘，与此同时，平阳关大桥也被我军梁营长（王庆祥 饰）带人炸毁。敌伪内部为推卸责任内讧迭起，狡猾的松本少将（王夫棠 饰）为“以华治华”计谋考虑，迅速平息了事态。他要求警备队长郎友仁（大李 饰）与日军中队长村内（木子 饰）精诚团结，将军火运往阳泉增援守敌。此计被梁营长识破，行动被粉碎。村内乘我不备，带人血洗了青石坡村，并修复好被炸塌的桥墩。魔高一尺，道高一丈。梁营长趁敌麻痹，率众民兵给日寇致命打击，村内绝望自杀。凶残的松本不甘失败......

　　The tragic love story between Guido, the owner of a marble quarry and Luisa, the humble daughter of one of his employees, ends up in her giving birth to a baby boy. 　　三十年代的上海鱼龙混杂，在战争阴云下呈现一派各方势力交错的情景。出身闸北贫民区的黄大刚（张耀扬 饰）为了夺回做了歌女的心上人小珠（于莉 饰），带领一班兄弟闯荡，打出了自己的名号。其时爱国运动正如火如荼，小刀会骆子兴（尹扬明 饰）等人诛杀汉奸不遗余力，日本人多方渗透拉拢，上海公董局总办魏廷炎（刘松仁 饰）与日本人多有勾结。黄大刚为了得到小珠，拜入魏廷炎门下，为其担任先锋四处拼杀，终于做大，抱得小珠志满意得。与此同时，小刀会骆子兴等将暗杀目标锁定为和日本人勾结的魏廷炎。黄大刚心爱的小妹玉瑜（陈松伶 饰）与骆子兴偶然结识后对其一见钟情，希望能够加入小刀会厮守在骆的身边。黄大刚因不满魏廷炎利用小珠而与其翻脸，骆、黄两路人马为国仇家恨誓取魏廷炎性命……
