透明人

　　一个爱玩游戏的男人要找回他妻子失踪的猫，这让他不得不直面周围光怪陆离甚至是危险的元素，迫使他直面自己的恐惧，重新思考生活的策略。

　　2012年，美国经济状况恶化，犯罪率剧增，已逐步私人化的监狱为谋取暴利不择手段，于是“死亡飞车”比赛应运而生。昔日优秀的赛车手弗兰克（Jason Statham 饰）在工厂里参与了一场工人抗议，结果当天夜里，有人潜入他的家中，杀害了他的妻子，弗兰克却被当做凶手蒙冤入狱。监狱长、死亡飞车比赛的组织者轩尼诗（Joan Allen 饰）要求弗兰克顶替身死的蒙面赛车手科学怪人，并允诺只要弗兰克以科学怪人的身份再赢一场，他即可获得自由。弗兰克与领航员凯丝（Natalie Martinez 饰）进入了这场驾驶改装车并随时会遭遇死亡的疯狂游戏，怎奈他心不在焉的状况下出师不利，弗兰克面临轩尼诗的威胁与陷害，不得不放手一搏……

　　约翰·福特导演早期作品，此时还在使用杰克·福特作为导演名，尽管福特曾拍摄过六十多部默片，但如今大多数都已遗失，本片是少数存留下来的几部之一，讲述了一个非常简单的西部小镇故事，故事主角比姆（Buck Jones）是一个流浪汉，某天他偶然认识了同样是流浪汉的男孩比尔（Georgie Stone），两人成为了亲密无间的好朋友。比姆一直暗恋着学校老师玛丽·布鲁斯（Helen Ferguson），然而她已经有男友哈维·卡希尔（William Buckley），再加上自己流浪汉的身份，他平常只敢远远地望着她。为了更好地照顾比尔，比姆打算寻找工作，却被雇主出了一个十分刁难的要求，比尔为了帮助比姆不幸摔伤，比姆在伤心之余又发现自己暗恋的玛丽也陷入了大麻烦。

　　In Cecil B. DeMille’s 1920 comedy Why Change Your Wife? Gloria Swanson (DeMille’s regular leading lady of this period) as Beth, a respectable and rather prim wife who discovers that husbands don’t necessarily want their wives to be respectable and moral. It’s not that he doesn’t love her; he just wants a little romance in his marriage, and when another woman comes along who offers him the excitement he craves, he inevitably strays. And divorce inevitable follows.
　　Beth then has a sudden revelation – maybe it’s not only true that men like shameless hussies, but maybe it’s also true that shameless hussies have quite a lot of fun. So she decides to transform herself into a sexpot.

　　A young pregnant woman named Nada escapes from a country at war by hiding in a maritime container aboard a cargo ship. After a violent storm, Nada then gives birth to the child while lost at sea, where she must fight to survive.

　　十年前，麦克（克里斯•波特 Chris Potter 饰）和他的搭档黑猩猩明奇侦探界的明星搭档，他们屡破奇案。但一次任务的失利却使得麦克心灰意冷，于是他退出了侦探界，专心照顾他的女儿阿梅利亚；而明奇也加入了马戏团开始了它的新生活。转眼间，阿梅利亚（艾玛•罗伯茨 Emma Roberts 饰）12岁了，凭借聪明的头脑她改进的钻孔机获得了国家科学奖，更获得了法尔里博士（理查德•坎德 Richard Kind 饰）邀请前往日本参加研讨会。然而法尔里博士其实另有阴谋，麦克和明奇这对老搭档必须再战江湖，救出身陷囫囵的阿梅利亚！

　　The main character is Dr. Max Holst, a successful neurosurgeon. One day an intense little man named Steinmetz shows up, who has the real ability to create objects out of thin air, using only his mind. As no one believes him at first, he is held at a ward for mental patients, but manifests the key to his door and escapes. As he has a special interest in Dr. Holst, Steinmetz subsequently invites Holst to his large mansion, which is full of expensive paintings and sculptures, and proves to him that he can in fact materialise objects. Steinmetz’s abilities are evolving by leaps and bounds, and is progressing from being able to create objects only to being able to create living things. His ultimate ambition is to be able to create a human being. He tells Dr. Holst that if he will only perform a certain brain operation on him, Steinmetz will become able to attain his goal. He’s got all the necessary equipment set up in his basement. Dr. Holst, however, is too spooked by the whole thing to agree to this mad scheme, and refuses. Steinmetz then sets about manipulating Holst’s life, to pressure him into performing the operation. By then Steinmetz has become able to create a temporary human being, and in the hope that he can perhaps make his own creation perform the operation, he manifests a doppelganger of Dr. Holst. This double proceeds to take over Dr. Holst’s life, creating chaos for him professionally and personally. And then Dr. Holst starts fighting back. The ending has the dual virtue of being both unexpected and satisfying.
