　　茅山正宗传人七哥和两个不成器的徒弟共同保卫着青龙镇，直到同门师妹黄蓉和她徒弟到来悄然改变。停尸间尸变，赶尸道长遇害，各类毒物突袭等一系列怪事接踵而至，原来一切都是师妹于暹罗结仇的降头师所为，而更大的复仇计划正将来临。茅山后裔们严阵以待，正邪大战一触即发。

　　周家馆里的大老爷周朴园（孙道临 饰）经营的是煤矿生意，和自己的续弦繁漪（顾永菲 饰）生下了自己的第二个儿子周冲（钟浩 饰），而大儿子周萍（马晓伟 饰）的生母，周朴园只说早早过世了。年轻貌美的繁漪忍受不了周家馆的死气沉沉和周朴园的阴郁脾气，和大儿子周萍发展成了乱伦关系。这段禁忌之恋最终因为周萍的懦弱而夭折，周萍转而把注意力投入到了家里的侍女四凤（张瑜 饰）身上。周萍和四凤的关系让繁漪精神衰弱，于是找来了四凤的母亲希望把四凤辞退。走入到周公馆的侍萍（秦怡 饰），原来就是三十年前被周朴园抛弃的，最后被周家的管家鲁贵所救的周萍的亲生母亲。得知真相的侍萍无法接受自己女儿和儿子在不知情的情况下相恋的事实，而悲剧却已无法阻止……

　　Middle-aged banker Arthur Hamilton is given the opportunity to start a completely new life when he receives calls from his old friend Charlie. The only problem is that Charlie is supposed to be dead. Hamilton is eventually introduced to a firm that will fake his death and create an entirely new look and life for him. After undergoing physical reconstruction surgery and months of training and psychotherapy, Hamilton returns to the world in the form of artist Tony Wilson. He has a nice house in Malibu and a manservant, a company employee who is there to assist him with his adjustment. 　　Two differences between this Austrian version and the generally available American version are immediately obvious: they differ both in their length and in the language of the intertitles. The American version is only 1,883 metres long - at 18 frames per second a difference of some 7 minutes to the Austrian version with 2,045 metres. Whereas we originally presumed only a negligible difference, resulting from the varying length of the intertitles, a direct comparison has nevertheless shown that the Austrian version differs from the American version both in the montage and in the duration of individual scenes. Yet how could it happen that the later regional distribution of a canonical US silent film was longer than the "original version"?
　　The prevalent American version of Blind Husbands does not correspond to the version shown at the premiere of 1919. This little-known fact was already published by Richard Koszarski in 1983. The film was re-released by Universal Pictures in 1924, in a version that was 1,365 feet (416 metres) shorter. At 18 frames per second, this amounts to a time difference of 20 minutes! "Titles were altered, snippets of action removed and at least one major scene taken out entirely, where von Steuben and Margaret visit a small local chapel." (Koszarski)
　　From the present state of research we can assume that all the known American copies of the film derive from this shortened re-release version, a copy of which Universal donated to the Museum of Modern Art in 1941. According to Koszarski the original negative of the film was destroyed sometime between 1956 and 1961 and has therefore been irretrievably lost. This information casts an interesting light on the Austrian version, which can be dated to the period between the summer of 1921 and the winter of 1922. Furthermore, the copy is some 200 metres longer than the US version of 1924. If one follows the details given by Richard Koszarski and Arthur Lennig, this means that, as far as both its date and its length are concerned, the Austrian version lies almost exactly in the middle between the (lost) version shown at the premiere and the re-released one.A large part of the additional length of the film can be traced to cuts that were made to the 1924 version in almost every shot. Koszarski describes how the beginning and the end of scenes were trimmed, in order to "speed up" the film. However, more exciting was the discovery that the Austrian version contains shots that are missing in the American one - shots/countershots, intertitles - and furthermore shows differences in its montage (i.e. the placing of the individual shots within a sequence). All this indicates that Die Rache der Berge constitutes the oldest and most completely preserved material of the film.

　　女主角安娜（米拉·乔沃维奇 Milla Jovovich 饰）偶然在街头目睹一场凶杀案，被歹徒发现后追杀，慌乱的搏斗中安娜受伤跌入河中而幸免一死。安娜成了唯一活下来并看到过凶手真面目的目击证人。警察决定要从安娜身上找到连环杀人案破案的突破口。

　　拉娅（卢蒂娜·卫斯理 Rutina Wesley 饰）的姐姐是个无可救药的毒虫，她挪用了拉娅的学费购买毒品，并最终死于吸毒过量。经历了这一番变故，再也无法承担私立学校高昂学费的拉娅只能选择离开，她回到了老家，回到了位于多伦多黑人社区的公立学校。
　　同学们将拉娅在私立学校就读当做是一种“背叛”，其中名为米歇尔（翠茜·阿姆斯特朗 Tracey Armstrong 饰）的强势女生和拉娅之间的关系更是水火不容。舞蹈大赛即将举行，为了赢得巨额的奖金，拉娅想方设法加入了一支踢踏舞团。在训练期间，拉娅和同伴们培养了深厚的友谊，同时亦对踢踏舞产生了由衷的热爱，随着时间的推移，一个问题在拉娅的心中不断翻滚：公立学校和私立学校，究竟哪里才是她真正的归属？
