　　After fighting in the Civil War, two Union Army buddies find themselves on opposite sides of the law with the post-war peace at risk.

　　带有浓重昭和气息的宇宙飞船中，生活着编号为722的人形机器人铃木洋子（神乐坂惠 饰）。她与AI机器人相伴，永远奔波在漫长的宇宙旅途中。她的日常百无聊赖，洗衣服、缝扣子、剪指甲、打扫卫生，孤独与静寂永无止境。洋子是一名宇宙快递员，她所投递的货物却都是些看似无关紧要的小物件。每次投递需要花费数年时间，纵使瞬间旅行已成可能，不过她却似乎有什么理由消磨这漫长的时光。一颗孤独的星球上，仿佛被全宇宙所遗忘的人类，在破败的街道上等待着远方的造访……

　　南清市缉毒大队队长叶其辉收到卧底警员万蕾线报，本市最大毒贩团伙——“幽灵”组织准备倾销存货，潜逃海外，而与其交易的对象则是K国大毒枭巴青。
　　叶其辉紧急部署抓捕行动，未曾想一切竟是“幽灵”组织为排查卧底特意安排的虚假交易。抓捕行动失败，数名警员牺牲，万蕾陷入险境。

　　另一边，万蕾主动出击，立下投名状，重新获得“幽灵”组织的信任。同时步步为营，深入打探，利用林氏姐妹之间的分歧，以身犯险，独闯“幽灵”组织老巢，凭借苦肉计探查得到“幽灵”组织与巴青交易的具体信息。
　　万蕾冒死传出交易信息，叶其辉迅速部署收网行动。二人里应外合，历经九死一生，成功抓获大毒枭巴青，瓦解林氏双胞胎的“幽灵”组织。叶其辉也终于冲破内心的情感藩篱，在病床前等候万蕾的苏醒。

　　故事发生在清末民初，徐大帅（徐锦江 饰）于古墓之中获得了五魔瓦盅，将其连同镇压它们的金佛一同收入囊中，起初，由于金佛的镇压，五魔不敢轻举妄动，然而，管家见金佛起了贪念，将它偷走，这下五魔终于重获自由，蠢蠢欲动准备兴风作浪。
