原作漫画作者是塚原洋一，作品讲述了在《蜡笔小新》系列中未曾展现的、作为上班族为家庭工作的广志在有限的零花钱和时间中，对午餐的极致追求。广志不仅以美食评论的方式品尝美味，还包含了各种料理的冷知识和制作方法，以及上班族特有的“请后辈吃饭的烦恼”、“业务间隙的快餐”、“对上司的抱怨”等职场人士的共鸣点，因此得到了 20 至 30 岁男女的广泛共鸣。此外，该衍生作还融入了《蜡笔小新》特有的幽默，以及广志在品尝“热辣”、“辛辣”、“甜美”等不同料理时展现的各种“颜艺”。
The sixth season of the stop-motion television series Robot Chicken originally aired in the United States on Cartoon Network's late night programing block, Adult Swim. Season six officially began on September 9, 2012 on Adult Swim, with "Robot Chicken DC Comics Special" and will contain a total of twenty episodes.
