原作漫画于2018年开始进行连载，故事讲述在视频投稿网站拥有人气与知名度，被称为「吉他英雄」的后藤ひとり，是一名只对吉他敞开心房的孤独少女。她在某日与寻找吉他手的伊地知虹夏相遇，并加入她们的乐团「结束バンド」，因而走向新的世界。

国江田计（阿部敦 配音）是拥有着极高人气的国民级主播，他拥有英俊的外表和温柔的个性，总是以无懈可击的完美形象出现在大众面前。可实际上，国江田计拥有一颗非常腹黑的内心，他从来都瞧不上那些拜倒在自己脚下的粉丝们，认为他们都是没有脑子的愚民。 一天，身着便服邋邋遢遢的国江田计不小心撞到了正在骑自行车的男子，之后才发现原来这个人正是自己从前采访过的动画作者都筑潮（川原庆久 配音），幸运的是，都筑潮并没有认出国江田计的身份。因为受伤，都筑潮无法完成工作，协助他的任务自然落到了始作俑者国江田计的头上。
