　　故事发生在《新蝙蝠侠》事件的一周后。讲述企鹅人（科林·法瑞尔 Colin Farrell 饰）于哥谭市地下社会的崛起经历。

　　Professor Jarvis is, as one student describes him, the most henpecked man in the world. When he catches Perry Hatch cheating on an exam, he informs him that he will not be reported to the university but rather to his father who, Prof. Jarivs hopes, will mete out appropriate punishment. Hatch is none too pleased and when he hears that Jarvis's wife has been gone for several weeks, starts to wonder if Jarvis may have gotten rid of her. He and a friend spy on him and find him throwing away some of his wife's belongings. They take their case to the police who decide to question him.

　　Season five of Murdoch Mysteries opens in unfamiliar territory, as Detective William Murdoch (Yannick Bisson) leaves Toronto to try his luck while the Klondike Gold Rush in the Yukon winds down. Suspended for interfering in an investigation, on the run for surreptitiously freeing a murderer to make amends, and nursing a broken heart after Dr. Ogden's marriage to another man, he tries to escape his past, and his passion for detective work. Back in the city, newly promoted Chief Constable Giles (Nigel Bennett) makes it clear to Inspector Thomas Brackenreid (Thomas Craig), that he'll be keeping a very close eye on police matters. Meanwhile, Murdoch's beloved former associate, Dr. Julia Ogden (Hélène Joy), is now working alongside Acting Detective George Crabtree (Jonny Harris) and Dr. Emily Grace (Georgina Reilly), a feisty young protégé. In the remote north, Murdoch is pleased to discover that his fledgling prospecting career may garner great success, a small comfort after Julia's marriage to another man. 　　故事发生在清朝康熙年间，纳兰容若（陈浩民 饰）出生于官宦之家，却偏偏爱上了先帝宠幸的妃子孔四贞（郝蕾 饰），这段感情将注定不会开花结果。经由鳌拜介绍，容若迎娶了名为卢雨蝉（张娜 饰）的女子，尽管卢雨蝉对纳兰容若痴心一片，但容若心中惦念的却始终都只有孔四贞。
　　最终，孔四贞被康熙（吕行 饰）远嫁至西北，遭人迫害被迫服毒，而身怀六甲的卢雨蝉生产时遭遇了难产，容若生命中两个重要的女人先后离他而去。一晃眼数年过去，容若爱上了罪臣之女沈宛（高圆圆 饰），而沈宛的父亲却恰恰是遭到了容若的父亲纳兰明珠（杜雨露 饰）的陷害，与此同时，康熙亦被沈宛的美貌所吸引，一段爱恨纠葛的恋情就此拉开序幕。

　　面对突然起来的外星人入侵，地球的军队不堪一击，各国政府的政权也土崩瓦解。六个月之后，地球上仅有少部分人存活了下来，为了能赶走外星人，重建家园。这部分人奋起进行着各种各样的抵抗。汤姆·梅森（诺亚·怀尔 Noah Wyle 饰）原本是一名历史学教授，因为外星人的入侵家破人亡。他带着自己的三个儿子加入了抵抗军团，努力对抗着外星人。而外星人一直劫掠人类的小孩儿，给他们装上背甲，变成自己的奴隶。抵抗军团因此除了与外星人周旋外，还要想尽办法解救这些被控制的孩子们。但是由于武力悬殊，抵抗军团一直处于劣势地位，到处躲避着外星人的围追堵截。直到有一天，抵抗军中的一人开发出利用外星人机甲制造的子弹，这种子弹能有效击穿外星人的机甲给予外星人致命打击。这时，抵抗军团才看到了武力上稍微向他们倾斜了一点，因此计划着向外星人的一个据点发起一次突然袭击……
