简介：　　After months of searching, I finally caught up with the Isaac Hayes blaxploitation hit Truck Turner. It's just not fair! This great action movie, Hayes' only lead role ever, is amazingly hard to find! I paid $15 to buy it at a Best Buy store, and I really got my money's worth. While I expected something along the lines of Shaft (and I wasn't disappointed there), I noticed a lot of similarities between this movie, made in 1974, and recent releases like L.A. Confidential and Jackie Brown! The plot: Hayes plays Mack "Truck" Turner, a former football star who was forced to retire due to an injury. Now he works as a bounty hunter with his partner Jerry (Alan Weeks is great!) When he kills his most recent target, a pimp named Gator, he's in trouble with Mack Daddy Harvard Blue and his vicious hoes, as well as a one-eyed assassin and a lot of other unpleasant characters! Isaac Hayes proves that he can act almost as good as he can sing! Nichelle Nicols of "Star Trek" gives the second-best performance in the movie as a hoe, Scatman Crothers is slick as Duke, the only pimp who backs Truck, and Annazette Chase is surprisingly good as Truck's lady! This one is a real classic. If you like Isaac Hayes, or "blaxploitation", and you find this movie somewhere, no matter how much it costs, buy it. It's worth it. **** out of ****

　　Martin Scorsese本人导的单元Feel Like Going Home结构松散，缺乏重心（从美国跳到西非，又只挑一两个乐手作重点，蜻蜓点水般轻轻略过），一看就知道是个音乐外行人，也难怪有些乐迷要失望不已，倒是德国大导演文德斯（巴黎德州，柏林苍穹下，直到世界末日），不愧是个道地的音乐喜好者，他所导演的The Soul of a Man，具有下列三大特色：
　　
　　1. 文德斯选择了自己最喜爱的三位布鲁斯艺术家斯基普·詹姆斯、布兰德·威利·约翰逊和J.B.雷诺瓦做为影片的主角，他带着虔诚与朝圣的心理，用剧情片的模式讲述了这三位音乐家的真实故事。
　　1). Willie Johnson（应该是纪录片）
　　2). Skip James（以戏剧方式重现其一生）
　　3). J. B. Renoir（影片来源：主要参照一对夫妇的私藏纪录片，并穿插了部分德国六零年代的摇滚场景，与导演个人的生活记忆。）
　　
　　2. 刻意用二零年代的老摄影机，透过重现场景，重新演戏（re-enactment）的方式，将影像与音乐作一个巧妙的连结，其效果不亚于任何一部优秀的MTV。
　　
　　3. 文德斯参考了大量的历史资料，请来与这三位音乐家同时代的或者具有影响力的像Lou Reed、克里斯·托马斯·金、尼克·凯夫Nick Cave 、the Bad Seeds、詹姆斯·布拉德·乌尔姆JamesBlood Ulmer、Lucinda Williams等近二十七位美国布鲁斯音乐人，请他们重新演唱这三位音乐家的经典布鲁斯歌曲，再穿插以当年历史新闻镜头，让观众在黑白影像中重新领略到布鲁斯音乐的魅力，体味到文德斯对音乐乃至人生的理解与感悟
　　
　　这部片子前后的贯穿力强（以美国NASA宇宙飞船在船上放蓝调唱片藉以和外星人沟通为开场白，片末则出现了太空与Willie Johnson脸庞的迭影，颇有深意），凝聚性也高，充分显现温德斯对于音乐的投入，对于音乐--影像之间的对话与相扣，有非常好的掌握能力，值得推荐给大家看。

简介：　　American Charlotte Dobler is a master chocolatier in Vienna, she having taken over historic Dobler Chocolates from her now deceased grandmother. She is facing an eviction of sorts from that historic site in a buyout from Danube Developments who has a redevelopment project under works. Charlotte is the only property owner holdout in not selling in honor of that history. In an appeal to city hall, Charlotte can't prove her stance that it is eligible to be designated a protected historical landmark, i.e. a building at least one hundred years old, as she only has the stories told to her by her grandmother, with records of such seemingly all destroyed during the war. Danube's assertion is that the site was probably redeveloped postwar. Charlotte's fallback is preparing for the annual Vienna Chocolatier of the Year competition, she one of the three finalists. She figures winning such would bring profile to her and the shop, Danube who would not dare to be seen as the bad guy in placing pressure on the winner to vacate against her will. In a worse case scenario, Charlotte believes she may have to move back to the States and revert back to her former law career. Through this process, she meets Henry Broadbent, the new CEO of what was his father's development business, Eurostar, and a philanthropist. As a bond forms between the two, Henry learns that the company placing pressure on her to sell is Danube. The issue is that Henry's father, Gordon Broadbent, in one of his last acts as Eurostar CEO, acquired Danube specifically because of this redevelopment on the Dobler site. Henry has to decide what to do as Eurostar CEO while wanting to continue that burgeoning romantic relationship with Charlotte.
