　　甄兵兵（刘芮侨 饰）刚刚从电影学院毕业，步入了残酷而又现实的社会，毫无资源和人脉的他落入了走投无路的境地。在学姐田小甜（丁柳雁 饰）的引导下，甄兵兵成为了一名网络主播，并且意外的为自己挣得了不少的人气。
　　甄兵兵家隔壁搬来了一位名为郑嘉男（马梓铭 饰）的女子，郑嘉男患有社交恐惧症，甄兵兵在不知情的情况下对后者产生了误会，两人闹得十分不愉快。在虚拟的网络中，郑嘉男还有另一重身份——知名段子手“黑熊怪”，利用这样一重特殊的身份，郑嘉男决定好好的报复一下总是对自己出言不逊的甄兵兵，就这样，不打不相识的两人之间产生了奇妙的化学反应。

　　小时候的陈嘉玲，没有人陪她玩的时候，她就自己找乐子；没人陪她说话的时候，她就自己跟自己对话。她是这么宝贝她自己，想尽办法让自己开心。
　　而长大后，即将迈入四十岁的陈嘉玲，虽然一路跌跌撞撞，也是货真价实地活了大半辈子。爱过人，也被人爱过；被人负过，也负过人。就算现在一无所有，天也不会塌下来。她不知道接下来的路要怎么走，但他告诉自己，接下来的每一天，她至少可以不违感受，平凡但诚实，普通但理直气壮的往前走，做一个接受自己的「俗女」。

 John is a repressed man who is shocked to find himself in middle age, secretly raging at his life as a stay-at-home dad.
