简介：十八年前，李锦葵在南疆采棉时弄丢了不满三岁的儿子，寻找三年未果，从此封闭过去独自回到四川老家生活。2021年，在她年满40岁时，因为要送偶遇的叛逆离家少年阿正回南疆，那个她丢失儿子的故地，而重新踏上了一次回归之旅。在这趟旅程中，锦葵尝试着重新找回面对自我的勇气和生命的活力，但是曾经的、现在的、遇到的男人都不是她满意和值得托付的，唯独与18岁少年相处才是她欢喜安定的时刻，然而相处中却逐渐发现这男孩可能是自己丢失的儿子。时代浪潮滚滚向前，锦葵对自己认为已经“遗忘”的记忆产生了摇摆，不断地确认，不断地否认......十八年的社会变迁，又一个中国南疆的采棉季，李锦葵感到冥冥之中生命内在的某种未知正在与其遥相呼应。
