 中国即将解放，国民党节节败退。为保住厦门鸥岛军港要塞，代号凤凰花的人打入敌军特工与我军派往执行任务的侦察突击队员里应外合完成任务。1949年9月至10月间。国民党兵败溃退东南沿海鸥岛，屯兵布防，欲作垂死挣扎。我军小分队奉命潜入鸥岛配合地下党员"凤凰花"窃取敌军秘密布防图。刚刚接上关系，"凤凰花"却已下落不明。与此同时，敌军请来了布防专家鹿将军。医生琴淑贞担任陶司令的私人保健医生，能自由出入要塞，积极地同敌军中我秘密党员联系。她感到司令的辛上尉可能就是"凤凰花"，接上头后，双方约定利用机会由辛去窃取要塞防图。此事被司令部副官夏候亮听到。辛在窃取情报时落入了蓝上校的圈套，献出了年轻的生命。 辛牺牲前交给琴医生的密件原来已被人暗中换掉。正当小分队来接头时，被国民党兵包围。小分队突围出去后，将已叛变的交通员处决。 军舰上，鹿将军在周密布防。蓝上校前来报告：司令部内有共军卧底，要严加防范。 总攻时间逼近。关键时刻，夏候亮同琴淑贞接上关系，二人摆脱监视，里应外合，配合小分队开始最后的行动。 夏候亮潜入鹿将军办公室，将其诱出后挟持到快艇上，此时阴险狡诈的蓝上校带人拦截。激烈的枪战后，蓝上校被夏击毙。但小分队的田参谋和琴淑贞为救鹿之妻儿英勇牺牲。 为争取鹿将军，夏候亮拿出毛森同陶司令拟定的文件："若鹿有反叛行为，即斩!"鹿将军醒悟，决心同国民党分道扬镳，为了新中国， 绝不做千古罪人…… 总攻发起，排炮轰鸣…… 陶司令目睹国民党军大势已去，而解放军的枪炮声逼近，绝望地自尽了。 凤凰湾，烈士墓前，夏候亮同鹿将军等人前来祭奠琴淑贞的英灵。

　　影片《公文包》由杰森·克拉夫奇克执导，讲述一个关于公文包的喜剧故事。男主角曾经在体育场工作了3年，他没有过参军经历却杀过人，他将自己置于危险之中。他和他的小伙伴被同一个手铐铐在一起不能分开，他们不知道他们应该去哪，但身后总有人拿着枪想杀掉他们。就在这时他和他的小伙伴却有了一些矛盾，因为他们带着一个神秘公文包，此时男主角想打开公文包，看看里面到底装着什么东西，然而他的小伙伴却坚...

　　小咪跟随奶奶来到香港投靠亲戚，随后流落到了花天酒地成为一名妓，在接客中遇到了贩毒集团的老大。老大将她们一众女人压作人质妄想逃脱警方的逮捕。最后小咪被歹徒连砍两刀，在临死前将贩毒老大杀死，瓦解了该集团。

　　上集：冷秋薇与李文俊相恋，两人同居育有一子国雄。俊母嫌贫爱富，逼俊娶富家小姐郭玉珍，薇无奈遗下亲子而去。不久，薇诞下俊女丽芳，因无力抚养送予富孀胡凤娟，自己则认作芳姨母，时加探望。芳渐长，嫌薇贫寒，常恶言相向。俊到澳门工作，薇碰巧到俊家当女佣，赫然发现雄是亲子，但恐与雄相认有碍俊事业前途，只好默默庇护爱子。珍恼雄挂念生母，欲以毒药加害，薇及时阻止，反遭嫁祸，系狱十年。薇出狱，到胡家欲与芳母女相认，却遭芳驱逐……
　　下集：冷秋薇晕倒街头，幸得李国雄救助。雄把薇安顿后，告别父亲文俊，到外国攻读法律。李丽芳拒与薇母女相认，遭养母痛斥，愤而离家到夜总会当歌女，终日与夏利信等损友为伍，薇屡劝不果。信等欲对芳施暴，薇为救芳与信纠缠，信失足堕崖身亡，其同党逼芳指证薇谋杀。雄学成归来，决替薇洗雪冤情。俊在法庭上乍见薇，喜出望外，立即偕雄与她相认。芳良知未泯，经众人规劝在庭上说出真相，还薇清白，一家团圆。

　　故事发生在风光秀丽的海南岛，杨安妮（童瑶 饰）和林帆（林申 饰）是经验丰富的摄影师，专门为他人留下宝贵的回忆和美好的影像。

　　Fifteen year-old Taylor Collins is a golf legacy. The son of a PGA veteran, the younger brother of a PGA rookie, he has all the talent in the world-but wants nothing to do with golf or the pressure of being the next in line. After Taylor purposely blows his tryout for the school team, his disappointed father takes a drive that ends in a texting-while-driving accident and lands him in a coma. Taylor blames himself and, with the guidance of his brother and the prayer support from his mother Jenny and newfound crush Bailey, makes it his mission to get back on the team and become the first freshman in state history to lead his team to a state championship. Faith, hope, and love bring Taylor and his family closer than ever and he learns that the greatest way to honor his father and his God is to embrace the gifts and talents he was given.

　　Stuart Gordon, considered a master of the horror genre thanks to classics like Re-Animator and Dagon, decides to do a different move in this strange trip to human morals.
　　
　　"King of the Ants" is about a regular guy, Sean Crawley(newcomer Chris McKenna), a man without any aspiration who just live in his apartment doing the necessary job to live to the next day. In one of his jobs he meets Duke(Gearge Wendt), who introduces Sean to his boss, Ray Matthews(played by Daniel Baldwin). Ray hires Sean as a spy, and orders him to follow Eric Gatlin(Roy Livingstone), an accountant who has been investigating Ray's company. Problems start when Ray, while drunk, orders Sean to kill Eric. And he does it. Things go wrong when Ray decides to make Sean disappear destroying his mind with violent punishment and humiliation.
　　
　　From the point where Sean kills Eric, we go in the same boat with him, as he goes through a downward spiral of human degradation, traveling from guilt, to confusion and finally to his rebirth, in a state where humanity, morals and values are not important anymore. Chris McKenna acting is very important because he manages to be likable even when he is part of gruesome acts, both as victim and/or criminal. He has that look of innocence that hides a dark side and he manages to carry the film.
　　
　　The support cast also includes Kari Wuhrer, as Eric's widow who also becomes a central part of Sean's trip to hell. She gives a fine performance, although it's obvious that Sean is the main character. He is the most developed of all and McKenna's performance is up to the challenge.
　　
　　The film has very disturbing images of violence, and while it may not be as graphic as "Kill Bill" for example, the strength of the violence is in the lack of humanity that the character manifest. He is more than an ant in this world. He is the king.
　　
　　Stuart Gordon has managed to create a film that, while maybe it's not one of his best efforts; it's very well done, has a VERY interesting story to tell, and manages to capture the attention every second of it.

　　A former army colonel comes from a village to live in the city with her daughters where he finds it hard to adapt with the modern life.
