　　探员丹尼（本·阿弗莱克 饰）在调查一系列银行劫案的过程中，发现一名如幽灵般的危险男子，惊觉案件和此人竟与其失踪女儿有关！在灵媒戴安娜（艾莉丝·布拉加 饰）的协助下，他尝试追查并拆解箇中谜团，却反让二人被该男子追捕。急于寻回女儿的丹尼顷刻堕入难以自拔的境况，然而事情发展将彻底超出意料，颠覆他对身边一切的认知……

第一次世界大战期间塞内加尔狙击手的故事。

讲述了1917年，Bakary Diallo为了与从军入伍、年仅17岁的儿子Thierno团聚，应征加入法国军队的故事。

　　两人被派往前线，一同参战。在上级军官的激励下，Thierno受命奔赴战场，希望超越自我，成为一个男人。而他的父亲Bakary则努力不惜一切代价阻止儿子前往战场，保他安然无虞。

　　本片讲述了两个农村少年精神断乳的心路历程。亮子（李明 饰）一次用弹弓打伤了家里正下蛋的母鸡，受伤的母鸡从此只吃食不下蛋，妈妈不愿白糟塌粮食，准备拿到集上卖掉，随行的亮子看到鸡贩子要当他面杀鸡，心中涌起难言之隐，他把鸡抱回了家，给它敷药疗伤，没多久，母鸡恢复了健康，但仍不能下蛋，最终把它杀掉招待了拜年的老舅。二宝（马占成 饰）的学费来源就是家里养的母猪以及它下的猪崽，农村孩子没什么玩具，有时二宝拿母猪当马骑，却也不乏童年的乐趣，后因母猪流产再也不能怀崽时，父母邀邻居把它杀了过年。两个孩子生长在不同的家庭，但目睹了类似的家境，他们在痛苦的裂变中成长着......
