电视动画《黑塔利亚 World★Stars》改编自日丸屋秀和著作同名漫画作品，2020年10月宣布新作动画决定。由Studio DEEN负责制作。 是由日丸屋秀和创作的以世界历史为主轴，各个国家以及地区拟人化的四格短篇搞笑漫画。本作同时也动画系列第7季，制作团队为第5季《義呆利 The Beautiful World》、第6季《義呆利 The World Twinkle》的原班人马展开制作，由 渡边浩 担任监督、笔安一幸 负责剧本、冈真里子 进行角色设计，Studio DEEN 为动画制作公司。
