该剧讲取材自六道原著小说《坏蛋是怎样炼成的》，剧情延续《风云再起》的故事内容，讲述上世纪三十年代的动荡时期，谢文东带领文东会收服南洪门向问天等人，统一黑道。谢文东从大局出发，以民族利益为重，加入中国共产党，追随组织奋勇抗日的传奇故事。该剧已于2016年3月7日于优酷中午12:00正式播放。
