简介：

　　警察张大海（连凯 饰）开车押送犯人司徒奇（林家栋 饰）回警署，却在半路上遭遇了意外误打误撞之中闯入了寨城。寨城中聚集着来自各地的不法之徒，他们在此安营扎寨，经营和维持着属于自己的法律，是一个典型的“三不管”地带。寨城的头目乌鸦扣押了张大海和司徒奇两人，扬言要杀掉身为警察的那一个。
　　此时，妓院老鸨阿玲（田蕊妮 饰）站了出来，诬陷司徒奇为警察，使得张大海获得了自由。原来，司徒奇和张大海是曾经的恋人，两人还有一个女儿阿恩，可是后来司徒奇抛弃了母女两不知所踪。阿玲希望司徒奇能够帮助她们离开寨城，保护阿恩不受乌鸦的侵害。

Evdokia is a drama of passion whose main characters are a sergeant and a prostitute who get married after a brief passionate idyll. Very soon, however, the influence of their environment strains their relationship, and the man tries to break away, but without success. The pair are surrounded by harsh light, the rock, the bare landscapes and the military exercises, on the one hand, sensuality and constrictions, on the other. Because of her occupation, Evdokia both attracts and repels the sergeant. The petit bourgeois environment, the lumpen elements, the social fringes and petty interests stifle the young couple, which appears to want to rebel, but doesn't succeed.
　　With everything moving among violent sensuality, cruelty, coarseness and total austerity, this "prosaic" story assumes the dimensions of an ancient tragedy. In Greece, the film is mostly known for the popular instrumental piece "Zeibekiko of Evdokia", written by Manos Loizos.
