 改编自作家谈歌的小说《大厂》。西安电影制品厂出品。 故事发生在中国国有大中型企业改制过程中。局机关的年轻干部吕建国来到了长城重型机械厂，当上了连工资也没有保障的厂长。刚到工厂时,他决心不让一个工人下岗,但随着形势的发展,他发现国有企业的真正结症正是人浮于事。于是他下决心先裁人，为此他遇到了很大的阻力……然而，在他的耐心劝说下，通情达理的工人们还是自愿牺牲，支持改革……由此，一场革命真的开始了。 影片以我国大中型企业改革这一伟大的历史进程为背景，通过长城重机厂厂长吕建国在"救厂"过程中内心情感、价值观的转变，真实地塑造了一个为使企业走出困境，殚精竭虑，呕心沥血的企业好干部形象。

　　1976年，老唐（姜文 饰）和唐妻（孔镱珊 饰）下放到李东方所在的小山村。老唐天天和村里的孩子们一起上山打猎，逍遥自在，唐妻备受冷落之下，准备寻找自己新的生活……
　　1958年，新疆，两个骑骆驼的女人，唐妻和身怀六甲的疯妈，并肩而行，迎接她们的，是两段截然不同的命运……
　　若干年后的纠葛，从茫茫戈壁上的相遇开始，早已冥冥注定。

　　影片是根据原田真人担当导演编剧的电影《盗写 1/250秒》为原作改编，讲述了昔日小报记者都城静（福山雅治饰）目前担当八卦专门杂志的狗仔，在沉迷于酒精赌博中混混度日的他因一件小事和被分配到同部门的新人记者行川野火（二阶堂富美饰）一起成为搭档。二人在捕获到独家新闻之后，引起一场更大事件的发生。

　　爱达荷州普林斯顿高中生拿破仑（乔恩•海德 Jon Heder 饰）是个衰蛋，带着厚厚的眼镜，不酷不帅，还总是搞怪。他和奶奶以及失业的哥哥凯普相依为命。他在学校不受同学待见，还经常被老师修理。他不合群，只能孤独地跟风车球使劲儿。后来，他结识了同学佩德罗（艾弗连•莱米雷斯 Efren Ramirez  饰），两人成了朋友。在佩德罗参加学生会主席竞选时，拿破仑贡献了自己的力量。一次，拿破仑在家扮沙发土豆时，有女孩黛比（蒂娜•米乔里诺 Tina Majorino 饰）上门推销。他于是对这个女孩产生了好感，但是没有勇气追求，只能想出一些拙劣的鬼点子，结果总是不欢而散。凯普看电视购物，被防身术教练深深吸引了，拉着拿破仑两人参加了俱乐部，没想到大失所望……

　　本片改编自同名漫画，讲述了从连续杀人犯向死刑犯求婚开始的狱中悬疑，由此展开了主人公·夏目新和死刑犯·品川珍珠的头脑战和跌宕起伏的故事。
