2011年に設立され、13年に劇場公開された短編「陽なたのアオシグレ」やマルコメのカップみそ汁のCMアニメーションなどで注目される新進気鋭の制作会社スタジオコロリドによるオリジナルの劇場アニメーション。とある離島の中学校を舞台に、少年同士の友情を描いた青春劇。文化祭前日、島に観測史上最大の台風が接近するなか、幼い頃から続けていた野球を辞めたことがきっかけで親友の西条とケンカした東は、突然現れた赤い目をした少女ノルダと出会う。監督は、スタジオジブリでアニメーターとして活躍し、「陽なたのアオシグレ」ではキャラクターデザインや作画監督も務めた新井陽次郎。
