《熊出没之探险日记2》则延续了上一季的剧情，除了保留大家最爱的女性角色赵琳外，还加入了人类大反派“天才威”等新角色，使剧集更具矛盾冲突。
动画围绕着两对姐弟——新本姐弟和齐藤姐弟的日常展开。都有“征服世界”幻想、都只爱自己的新本姐弟，一个是“看起来是现充实际上是御宅族”的姐姐千子（山本希望 配音），一个是很受女孩子欢迎的阳光系清爽少年弟弟千嘉（逢坂良太 配音）。另一方面，长相出众、到哪里都受到欢迎、却同属不可思议系的齐藤姐弟，一个是“看起来是大美人实际上是怪咖”的姐姐真子（茅野爱衣 配音），一个是极受女孩甚至男孩欢迎的无口型少年弟弟真央（石川界人 配音）。每集5分钟的长度，带来两对性格迥异的姐弟超青春爆笑日常故事。 本动画改编自漫画家慎本真的同名四格漫画。
以傻鹏一家为中心描绘的家庭喜剧漫画。此前本作曾4度被改编为电视动画，分别是1971年播出的全40话《天才傻鹏》，1975年开始播出的全103话《元祖天才傻鹏》，1990年开始播出的全46话《平成天才傻鹏》，以及1999年开始播出的《ReReRe的天才傻鹏》。
改编自英国漫画家Luke Pearson的同名系列漫画，讲述勇敢的蓝发女孩希尔达的冒险经历。
