　　自从心脏病发作过后，马修致力于寻找生活的真谛。在看起来像是遇见了顾问和生活教练黛安后, 马修开始改变他的方式。当然，这些变化都没有逃过他的妻子林恩的注意。然而，当她得知马修已经将他的广告代理公司的一半转向他的那帮新朋友时，琳意识到她的丈夫已经完全落他们的影响，他将毫不怀疑的去做任何他们说的事。为了试着挽回她的丈夫，她决定带马修和他们的女儿佩奇去海滩度假。但当黛安没打招呼就出现，琳恩发现这将是真正的斗争，她要为了她的家庭，在为时已晚之前切绝她和她家人的一切联系。
