Mayans M.C. follows the life of Ezekiel “EZ” Reyes, a member of the Mayans M.C. charter on the Cali/Mexi border. Meanwhile, EZ and Angel have grown distant from their father Felipe (Edward James Olmos) after a heart wrenching betrayal.
Early 20th century. Polina arrives at a girls' boarding school on a mysterious island to find her sister who disappeared under strange circumstances. Polina's investigation is complicated not only by conflicts with other girls and the imperious mentor Zakharova but also by a strange obsession that drives the girls mad, one after another. Polina needs to find out what happened to her sister without losing her mind in the process and get off the island which is sinking in the abyss of insanity.
故事围绕着“万家”的豆腐老店，因“一个家庭3个姓氏”以及“豆腐秘方只传姓万的男丁”的家训，埋下冲突与矛盾的伏笔。讲述一个家庭守护传统豆腐老店并克服挑战的温馨故事。 导演冯凯透露故事有点像他的家庭，“家里一团和乐，但其实也隐藏许多危机。”他强调此剧具备8点档的元素，但叙事将以真实温暖呈现，不再走洒狗血路线。 剧中妈妈的角色灵感来自于导演冯凯的母亲周游，冯凯也预告剧中女性角色贴近现代女性观念，不同于过往8点档的哭哭啼啼。他认为整部作品是他近十多年拍摄生涯中最自然、最贴近观众生活的一部戏。 编剧叶凤英透露故事灵感来自她女儿的一封简讯，让她产生写这部剧的契机。
