解放战争后期，新B军司令沙秉章被调驻守丰城，而国民党保密局也将鲁敏芝调往丰城，她的首要任务就是调查沙秉章是否有投共的意图。山野洋子秘密来到丰城，她的目的是遵父山野诚一之命意欲执行一项BBURH行动，找到父亲遗留在丰城的细菌炸弹。齐中飞作为我党地下组织人员在沙秉章身边潜伏多年，沙秉章虽是抗日名将，却饱受国民党内部的猜疑。齐中飞一直观察沙秉章的一举一动，计划让沙秉章起义投共。而沙秉章在抗日战争时缴获的细菌炸弹，一直是他的秘密王牌。最终，沙秉章在深思熟虑之后率部起义，细菌炸弹也交给我军妥善处置。
含着金汤匙出生的富家大少爷李思进（于小伟 饰）爱上了出身平凡但单纯善良的同学张薇（于明加 饰），这段门不当户不对的感情遭到了李思进家人的强烈反对，一直爱慕着李思进的富家小姐陈佳子（田子田 饰）亦将张薇视作仇敌，试图从中作梗。最终，李思进和张薇“过五关斩六将”，历尽千难万险结为夫妻。 张薇有着血小板低的症状，不适合怀孕生子，但为了丈夫和自己的家庭，她隐瞒了这一事实，然而，等待着她的却是三番五次的流产。在此期间，李思进一直安慰陪伴着妻子，甚至想要将妻子带出国居住，避开家族内部的纷纷扰扰，但李思进的心意并没有传达给张薇，后者甚至因为愧疚而主动提出了离婚。
PBS续订《#斯嘉丽小姐和公爵# Miss Scarlet & The Duke》第二季，A+E Networks International退出该项目。
