The 12th season of the New Zealand drama series “The Brokenwood Mysterie” will begin streaming on Acorn TV April 6. Subsequent installments of the six-episode season will be released on Mondays through May 11. As Brokenwood’s murder rate continues to rise, and strange conspiracies and deadly secrets begin to emerge, Detective Mike Shepherd (Neill Rea, The Warrior’s Way) and his team use unconventional methods to unravel the town’s most bizarre and chilling murder investigations yet.

Two years later, she and the three other “Liars” Johnny, Mirren, and Gat re-emerge to stir Cadence to recall the incident. “A tragic love story and an amnesia thriller set on a privately owned island off the coast of Massachusetts,” the logline further elaborates.
